System Assessment & Framework
Advancement in Information Technology has led to changes in teaching and learning processes of many educational institutions across the globe, which provides reliable, convenient and easily accessible environment that is conducive for learning. This study carried out an assessment of NIED COUNCIL E-Learning System to study the flaws associated with its existing utilization analysis process/methods of the system as well to determine the requirement to be considered for the development of a framework for utilization analysis process.
The utilization analysis of E-Learning Systems is associated with a lot of potentials: monitoring of users activities on the learning management system for the purpose of continue improvement of the E-learning System in order to enhance users experience on the platform. It can also provide up to date information which can be useful to the council management to make an effective and efficient decision which can transform teaching and learning processes positively.
Step-by-Step Execution Guide
Website Access & Navigation
Open www.nied.co.in website. Then click on the E-Learning Menu/Button shown in the website menu bar.
Explore Portal Menu Options
Access menus like E-learning, E-Course, E-book, Join As Instructor/Trainee, Student Login, Apply Online Centre, Student Guideline, etc. Choose the required option and click on the Student Login button.
Sign In or New Registration
Registered users can input their E-mail ID/Login ID and Password. First-time visitor students must click on the Sign UP button to create an account.
Sign Up Form Submission
Fill in details carefully: Name, Father's Name, Email ID, Photo (JPEG), Date of Birth, and choose a secure password. Click Sign Up.
Email Verification
Check your registered email inbox for a verification email from NIED ONLINE. Click on the verification link to activate your account for login access.
Logging Into Your Account
(A) Navigate back to the main menu and click Student Login.
(B) Enter your registered Email ID/Login ID and Password, then click Sign In.
Student Dashboard Home
Upon successful login, the Home Screen will appear where you can select courses and books of your choice. Access your profile via the My Account button.
Browse Courses Catalog
(A) Click on the Course button to open the course catalog screen.
(B) View different courses, their complete descriptions, fees, and offerings.
Course Details & Curriculum
(A) Select your desired course to view full details.
(B) Review learning outcomes, detailed curriculum modules, and syllabus structure.
Wishlist, Cart & Enrollment Options
Choose from available options:
• Add to Wishlist: Save courses to check later.
• Add to Cart: Add items to your shopping cart for later payment.
• Buy Now: Instant purchase and secure online fee payment.
Order Summary & Payment Gateway
(A) Verify your Order Summary and total payable amount, then click Pay.
(B) Confirm your mobile number and email ID for payment notifications and complete the transaction.
Accessing E-Books
(A) Click on the E-Book menu to view available digital books and fees.
(B) Follow the exact same purchasing procedure as outlined for online courses.
Accessing Course Videos & Lessons
(A) Go to My Account to access all your purchased courses and learning media.
(B) Click on the Start Lesson button to begin your video tutorials.
Online Examination Activation
(A) Upon completing course video lessons, your exam option will automatically activate below your course section.
(B) Click on Exam, agree to instructions via the check box, and click Start Exam.
Taking the Online Examination
The exam screen displays your student details, enrollment number, and course info alongside navigation tabs for switching subjects and managing questions.
Marksheet & Certificate Download
After successfully completing your exam, you can access your marksheet and certificate directly from the My Account section. (Certificates are generated only upon passing).
